Taylor Swift has scored another major milestone on the Billboard charts with a song tied to one of Disney’s most beloved franchises.
The track, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which the pop superstar wrote and recorded for Disney and Pixar’s film “Toy Story 5,” quickly became a fan-favorite upon release.
Its strong first-week performance not only secured the top spot on the Hot 100 but also placed it among a small group of Disney animated movie songs that have achieved similar success.

According to reports, the track is only the third theme song from an animated Disney movie to reach the top spot on the charts. Before Swift’s latest hit, the feat was accomplished by “A Whole New World” from the movie “Aladdin” in 1993 and “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from “Encanto” in 2022.
Billboard also reports that the track became Swift’s 15th No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 chart, giving her the third-most chart-toppers in the ranking’s history.
“I Knew It, I Knew You” sold 70,000 digital downloads in its first seven days, making it the bestselling song in the US at the moment. The track also earned 17,000 sales from physical CD purchases.
It ranks as the second-largest launch on the Digital Song Sales chart this year behind BTS’ “Swim,” which opened with 94,500 digital sales.
