A probe has been launched after two teenage girls were reported to have been sexually assaulted in the center of Nottingham this week.
The two girls were allegedly assaulted at 11pm on Thursday near Old Market Square.
The pair are currently being supported by specialist officers.
Detectives are now working to understand the circumstances around the attack.
A cordon has been placed in Norfolk Place as police enquiries continue.

DI Beth Sheard said: ‘We know that these incidents are very concerning and I would like to reassure the victims and the wider public that we are doing everything we can to investigate these reports.
‘Our investigation is now underway and I urge anyone who has any information to call Nottinghamshire Police immediately.’
