Protestors didn’t mince their words during a wave of ‘Hands Off!’ rallies across the US and Europe.

A sea of protestors swarmed the streets of 1,200 American towns and cities on Saturday – the largest wave of countrywide demonstrations since President Donald Trump returned to power.

People showed their disdain for the unusual alliance between the president and tech billionaire Elon Musk and the Trump administration’s actions during the ‘Hands Off!’ protests, waving signs like ‘Cyber yuck’ and ‘Nope’ to Elon.

They hit out at the recent move to introduce new tariffs, which sent the stock markets into turmoil, and other policies by the Trump administration that have been labelled anti-democratic and eroding American freedoms and rights.

Here is a roundup of some of the funniest and savage signs spotted at the protests.

Many of the placards showed an undercurrent of humour despite the dark times for many at the protests, which were joined by civil rights campaigners, veterans, women’s rights groups, unions and LGBTQ+ advocates.

One sign read: ‘I can’t afford to burn any more bras with these damn tariffs!’

Musk’s controversial career as an adviser to Trump and spearheading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) also came under fire.

Rumours are circulating that Musk might be on his way out of the Doge role due to federal rules specifying a limit on special government employee time, which Musk has acknowledged.

It first appeared during Trump’s 2018 visit to London as the huge, angry baby balloon was seen floating above the crowd at Westminster Abbey.

The protests were a walk down memory lane on some of Trump’s most infamous moments and accusations.

On top of the list of unpleasantries is his ‘grab ’em by the p****’ remark.

Trump has previously tried to defend his 2005 remark caught on tape by saying the rich and famous have been able to do so to women ‘for a million years.’

Elon Musk’s apparent Nazi salute had also inspired protester anger.

The Tesla billionaire appeared to make two back-to-back Nazi salutes on stage during a Trump rally just hours after the inauguration in January.

He made the gesture of raising his hand twice upwards after slapping it to his heart after addressing Trump supporters: ‘I just want to say thank you for making it happen.

‘This was a fork in the road of human civilization. This one really mattered. Thank you for making it happen! Thank you!’
