Global issuance of new green bonds totaled US $ 91.6 billion in the first half, down 26% year-over-year due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Climate Bonds Initiative ( CBI).
For Latin America, cumulative total issuance reached $ 17.9 billion at the end of the first half of the year, CBI said in a first half market report.
