A group of thieves made off with two large trailers carrying 800 barrels of Guinness.
CCTV footage shows a lorry being driven into an industrial site in Runcorn, Cheshire at 7.45pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
It was then connected to a trailer loaded with Guinness before driving off ten minutes later.
A second lorry loaded up with more pints of the Irish dry stout at around 9.30pm.
In total, some 70,000 pints worth £205,000 were stolen in vehicles belonging to GXO Logistics, police confirmed.

The stolen trailers are described as white tri-axle with curtains on the sides with the GXO branding, which is also found on the rear doors.
They are thought to have unique ID numbers DL736 or DL542 in the top left hand corner of the back doors.
The two thieves were both male, the first described as white with a short dark beard and wearing a beanie hat and the second thought to be wearing a cap.
Anyone with dashcam or video footage from the time of the incident is urged to share this with police.
DS Gary McClatchey said: ‘It is famously said that “Guinness is good for you”, but that is only the case when it has been bought and paid for.
‘It is with this in mind that we have wasted no time in launching enquires to identify those responsible for the theft of £115,000 worth Guinness and the two trailers that housed the barrels – we will settle for nothing less than the full recovery of all the items stolen.
‘As part of our investigation into fully establishing what has occurred, we are now appealing to anyone who has any information in relation to the theft to please come forward and speak to officers.
‘We would also ask any motorists who were driving in the area at the time of either of the incidents to please review any dashcam footage to see if you have captured anything that could aid our investigation.’
