Timothée Chalamet declares love for Kylie Jenner at Critics Choice Awards

“Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you,” these were the words Timothée Chalamet said during his Critics Choice Awards acceptance speech, directed at his girlfriend Kylie Jenner.

Chalamet won Best Actor for his performance in “Marty Supreme.” Fellow nominees included Leonardo DiCaprio, Joel Edgerton, Ethan Hawke, Michael B. Jordan and Wagner Moura.

While the win marked another milestone in his critically acclaimed career, it was his confession of love that ultimately defined the evening.

After beginning his speech by thanking his fellow nominees, Chalamet shifted his attention to the creative forces behind “Marty Supreme.” He praised director Josh Safdie for telling a story rooted in empathy and emotional complexity rather than moral absolutes.

“You made a story about a flawed man with a relatable dream, and you didn’t preach to the audience about what’s right and wrong,” he said. “We should all be telling stories like that. So, thank you for this dream.”

The atmosphere shifted when Chalamet turned toward the audience to acknowledge Jenner who was seated inside the venue, watching attentively.

“And lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years,” Chalamet said from the stage. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.”

As he motioned toward her, cameras caught Jenner mouthing, “I love you, too,” a response that drew a reaction from the crowd.

Moments earlier, the couple had shared a sweet kiss after Chalamet was announced as the winner.
