Toddler, 2, dies at house as investigation launched into tragedy

A child, 2, has tragically died at a property in Gateshead.
Emergency services raced to the scene at 8.40am on Saturday after a toddler was reported to be unresponsive. 
Paramedics tried their best to save the youngster but they were pronounced dead at the scene.
