From consistent chart-toppers to headline-making comebacks, several young male singers and male-fronted acts in the Philippines have steadily proven to be at the top of their game right now.

Here are just a few of the singers in the conversation for being among the Philippines’ best.

IV of Spades

After a five-year hiatus, the fashionable pop rock outfit would return in July 2025. Vocalist Unique Salonga is back in the mix, as well, bringing the band back to full force.

Within their first month back, IV of Spades would already release two singles, “Aura” and “Nanaman,” the former quickly topping the charts.

Cup of Joe

Cup of Joe garnered immense fame with their 2024 single “Multo,” which would be the first Filipino song to hit the Billboard Global 200. The single all but secured the success of their 2025 album “Silakbo,” with “Pahina” becoming among the top played songs in the Philippines on Spotify.

Earl Agustin

Earl Agustin shot to popularity with the 2023 earworm “Tibok,” which, thanks to its involvement in the show “Ang Mutya ng Section E,” is topping Spotify and MYX charts in 2025. Tracks like “Dalangin” and “Dito Sa’kin” also remain popular on Spotify this year.

In 2025, he looks to continue his career-long momentum as he tours internationally and releases new songs like “Diving” and “Manloloko.”

Maki

Since releasing his first single in 2021, 25-year-old singer Maki has won several awards as a solo artist and received countless nominations for tracks like “Saan?” and “Dilaw,” the latter even debuting on the global Spotify charts.

His 2025 single “Kahel Na Langit” would easily become one of the top songs in the Philippines on Spotify and MYX.
