neighbors have said they are ‘devastated’ and ‘all in shock’ by the death of a ‘kind and lovely’ mother-of-two who was stabbed to death at her home last week.
Dickiesa Nurse, 42, was found dead with multiple stab wounds in Tulse Hill, south London. Police and paramedics rushed to McCormick House after reports of a disturbance last Monday.

He appeared before Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday where he was remanded in custody.
neighbors have laid flowers on the doorstep of Dickiesa’s ground floor flat where she had lived for more than a decade.
One neighbor, Bruno Abreu, told Metro: ‘We are very upset – it’s a tragedy. I’ve lived here for a while and she has been a good neighbor. She was kind and lovely and there was never any problems with her.
‘She has two children a boy and a girl who are around the teenage years and they are a nice family. She was very articulate and seemed an educated person, always friendly. We are all in shock.’
Another neighbor who has three children told Metro that Dickiesa was a ‘great mother’ who was popular on the estate where the family live.
She added: ‘We are devastated. She was a great mother and a kind person who would do anything for anyone. We are thinking of her kids at this terrible time.’
The victim’s family are being supported by specialist Met officers.
Police were called to the address at 5pm on October 27. Officers reportedly used a taser and arrested the man on suspicion of murder, grievous bodily harm and threats to kill.

The flat has now been boarded up and Dickiesa’s children have gone to stay with relatives, neighbors told Metro.

Chief Superintendent Emma Bond previously said: ‘This is a deeply shocking crime and our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the woman who sadly died.
‘Our officers have arrested a man, who remains in custody, and are working at pace to piece together what happened.
‘We realise this is particularly disturbing for those living in the local area. Residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the coming days and are encouraged to reach out to officers if they have any concerns.’
