A female reporter who was pressing Donald Trump about Jeffrey Epstein’s victims who haven’t gotten justice was brutally attacked by the President.

CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins asked Trump what he would say to Epstein’s victims who ‘feel they haven’t gotten justice’.

Trump shot back: ‘What did you say? You know, you are the worst reporter. You know, she’s a young woman.

‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile,’ he said. ‘I’ve known you for ten years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile on your face.’

Collins replied: ‘Well, I’m asking you about survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse, Mr President.’

Trump bitterly replied: ‘You know why you’re not smiling? Because you know you’re not telling the truth. And you’re a very dishonest organisation, and they should be ashamed of you.’

Just days after 3,000,000 more damning files related to paedophile Epstein were released, Trump told reporters it was ‘really time’ for the country to move on.

He also dismissed the revelation that his Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and former friend Elon Musk were in the latest batch of files, saying: ‘I’m sure they’re fine.’

‘I think it’s time now for the country to maybe get onto something else like health care. Something that people care about,’ he said.

Trump’s recent rhetoric around the files is a 180 from the platform he campaigned on for President, in which he promised to release the Epstein client list.

After repeatedly mentioning the files during his 2024 campaign, Trump pivoted and called the case ‘pretty boring stuff’, even claiming it was a ‘Democratic hoax’.

But the US leader is facing the music now, as members of his own party are turning against him after delays in the release of the files.

‘Trump promised us law and order, then went to pardon a bunch of rich scammers and paedophiles. It’s all just so exhausting at this point,’ Adam*, a 25-year-old Trump voter, told Metro last year.

It’s not just formerly loyal Trump voters turning against the US President – Republican lawmakers, many of whom are staunch MAGA supporters and Trump’s fiercest defenders, have also soured.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, Nancy Mace and Ted Cruz are three Republicans who have taken a stance against the leader.

Mace and Greene joined every Democrat to sign a petition which pushed the Epstein files bill through to get approved.
