Witnesses are sought following a double fatal collision in Cobham near Gravesend.
At 7.47am on Sunday 6 September 2026, a white Ford Focus was travelling in a south westerly direction along Sole Street towards Meopham, when it was involved in a collision with three cyclists.
Emergency services attended the scene near the junction with Round Street where two of the riders, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s, were confirmed to be dead.
Their next of kin have been informed. The third cyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment to injuries described as minor.
Two men aged 20 and 21 were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A 19-year-old woman was also detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The road was closed while an investigation was completed and officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw the car or cyclists prior to the collision, to contact them.
