Two women have been killed in a car crash with an 18-year-old new driver arrested.
The two victims, both in their 20s, were driving a Suzuki Alto with a boy in the back seat.
They collided with a Vauxhall Meriva in Common Lane in Pleasley, Derbyshire at 6.20am on Thursday.
The women were pronounced dead at the scene.
A nine-year-old boy who was a passenger in the Suzuki has been taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said: ‘Their families are aware and our thoughts are with them.’
Three men who were in the Vauxhall were also injured, two of them seriously.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The police spokesman added: ‘Due to the injuries he sustained in the collision he was taken to hospital where he remains.
‘We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision as well as anyone with any information.’
