Brits have been warned to stay indoors as the UK braces for three days of snowfall.
The NHS has told vulnerable people they should avoid going out at the coldest times after a rare amber health alert was issued as temperatures begin to plummet.
The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings covering nearly all of England and Wales and parts of Scotland for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
An ice warning is already in place today across Scotland, Northern Ireland, and northern and southwestern parts of Wales.
