Holding a bouquet of sunflowers – a symbol of Ukrainian national identity – Mariia Bilyk married her childhood sweetheart after months of uncertainty.
Mariia, 23, and her fiancé Vitalij Melynik, 27, were supposed to wed in Ukraine in June, before Russia’s invasion halted their plans.
