The High Street Kensington Tube station has been evacuated after reports of a trackside fire along the District and Circle line route.
A trackside fire is wreaking havoc on the London Underground at rush hour, with High Street Kensington being shut and fire crews in attendance. A train driver reportedly tried to put out the blaze themselves, a passenger claimed.
Elsewhere, the Elizabeth line continues to be suspended between Paddington and Abbey Wood for a second day after a signalling system fault hit yesterday, while the stretch between Paddington, Heathrow Airport
and Reading has severe delays.All Elizabeth line trains from London Liverpool Street station have been listed as delayed or cancelled this morning.
