Urgent hunt for man after teenager sexually assaulted in city centre attack

Police are urgently hunting for a man after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in the middle of a city center.

An 18-year-old woman was inappropriately touched and spoken to on West Street in Andover at around 4pm on October 23.

Hampshire Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

He has been described as white, 6ft 2ins tall and aged between 30 and 40.

He is also said to have a skinny build, while having dark brown hair and a moustache.

In the image, he is seen wearing a dark puffer jacket, jeans a red and white cap, and sunglasses.

Police said: ‘We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

‘If you recognize the man, or have information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 quoting reference 44250480605.’
