Lidl has issued an urgent recall of its Harvest Basket Hash Browns over fears they could contain metal.

The budget supermarket said the metal could be a choking hazard.

The recall, shared by Food Standards Agency (FSA), affects 750g packs with a batch code of 5144L and a best before of May 2027.

Customers who have bought the hash browns have been told not to eat them.

They can return the product to their nearest store for a full refund.
