“Embrace the chaos.” That’s Filipino American actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens’ mantra as she navigates motherhood while expecting her second child.
The actress, who tied the knot with former professional baseball player Cole Tucker in December 2023, recently reflected on the highs and lows of parenting.
For Hudgens, motherhood has been both fulfilling and utterly draining. “Being a mom is literally the most exhausting thing on the entire planet,” she admitted.
Yet, the High School Musical alum quickly added that she remains “very in love” with this current season of her life, as she revealed in her exclusive chat with E! News.

I don’t know her,” she joked, explaining that she lives life in extremes, either fully immersed in one thing or another. “Life is crazy and time is a really precious thing. I guess that’s balance, if you call extremes balance.”‘

The actress also encouraged parents not to fall into the trap of delaying happiness. “It’s so easy to focus on things in the future—say, ‘I’ll be happy when,’ or, ‘Things will be easier when,’” she shared. “But that’s not what’s important. What’s important is the moment that is in front of you.”
Hudgens shared that her partnership with a smart cleaning brand has been a huge help in managing her busy days. She explained that having the extra support allows her to reclaim precious moments for herself, whether that’s skipping chores like mopping after putting her child to bed or simply unwinding with a favorite show such as “Love Island.”
On July 12, 2025, Hudgens and Tucker announced their second pregnancy with glowing baby bump photos, drawing excitement from fans.
While she admits the journey is exhausting, Hudgens is leaning into the chaos and embracing the joy of living fully in the present.
