Filipino American actress Vanessa Hudgens is being candid about what the journey really looks like behind the scenes as a mother.
Raising two children under the age of two with her husband, Cole Tucker, Hudgens described the experience as both transformative and intensely challenging.
In a recent interview, the High School Musical alum opened up about how becoming a parent has reshaped her lifestyle, priorities and creative outlook. Moreover, she said that this phase of her life has required her to slow down in ways she never expected.

Vanessa Hudgens“I am a very passionate person. I am a very creative person. And through this new chapter of my life, as a mom, it’s forced me to kind of take a change of pace in life,” she said.
The actress shared that parenting has grounded her deeply, pushing her to reflect inward and explore new avenues for creativity beyond her usual work in entertainment. While the experience has been fulfilling, it hasn’t come without its difficulties, especially with two infants demanding constant care.
“And now as a two-time mom with two under two – which should be criminal because it is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life – I know exactly what [products] I am using for my children and what I feel is missing in the marketplace.”
That realization has inspired her latest venture, a children’s brand called “A Star Is Born.” The project is rooted in her firsthand experiences as a mother, aiming to provide products she believes are lacking for modern parents.
