One woman completely crashed out over Nigel Farage’s appearance in Clacton.

The Reform UK leader was shaking hands and kissing the proverbial babies in the constituency he is trying to charm in his by-election face off against Count Binface.

Suddenly, a woman in a hatchback whizzes past, shouting ‘W*****’ at the politician – who says to receive more death threats than any other.

Clearly distracted by Farage’s presence she quickly proceeds to rear-end the car in front of her which had stopped for a traffic light.

‘She won’t do that again in a hurry’, one of Farage’s aides can be heard saying.

The Reform UK leader shared the clip to his Facebook folllowers, adding: ‘This lady shouted abuse at me and then crashed her own car. That’s what you might call instant karma!’

He added: ‘Someone on Instagram commented “God punishes some quicker than others”‘.

Farage’s popularity has been on a downward trajectory since the middle of August last year with a recent poll suggesting he is less popular than Sir Keir Starmer when he resigned.

Since then, he and his party have been rocked by stories about the people providing them with donations and support – including the £5 million ‘gift’ Farage received before the 2024 election.

Farage said he was going to rerun in the ensuing by-election, framing it as a ‘people versus the establishment’ battle.

But his move backfired when every major party declined to take part in a vote they variously described as a ‘stunt’ and a ‘vanity project’, leaving novelty candidate Count Binface as his main opponent.

Mr Farage was doused with a McDonald’s banana milkshake outside a pub in Clacton in 2024 after announcing he would stand for election in the constituency.

Reform UK MPs are being given round the clock security protection after the death of Ann Widdecombe.

Mr Farage will face a record 33 rival candidates in the by-election he triggered in protest at media and parliamentary scrutiny of his finances and backers.

The main Westminster parties are boycotting the Clacton by-election, dismissing it as a stunt by the Reform UK leader, leaving joke candidate Count Binface and actor-turned-politician Laurence Fox as his highest-profile opponents.

Mr Farage wanted the contest to be a ‘people versus the establishment’ showdown but he is now facing opponents including three from the Official Monster Raving Loony Party and an array of independents.
