Woman’s body found in B&M car park in Tottenham by police on patrol

The body of a woman has been discovered in a B&M car park in Tottenham.

Police officers on patrol on the High Road found the body next to the discount retail store shortly after 6.30am on Sunday.

The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation and is treating the death as ‘unexpected’.

The scene was taped off, and a blue evidence tent was set up in the car park.

Officers have not made any arrests.

A Met spokesperson said: ‘Police patrolling in the High Road area, Tottenham discovered a deceased woman at 0631hrs on Sunday, 24 August. Her death is being treated as unexpected at this time.

‘Enquiries are ongoing and a crime scene remains in place.’
