Young drivers won’t have to learn how to change gears in the near future, the president of the AA has said.
The number of driving tests taken in automatic cars has more than tripled since 2008 – rising from 3.8% to 13.8%, Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) data shows.
