The rise of Filipino pop music is gaining attention from one of South Korea’s biggest entertainment companies, with BINI and SB19 emerging as key indicators of P-pop’s expanding global reach.

During HYBE’s third-quarter 2026 earnings call, CEO Lee Jae Sang singled out P-pop leaders BINI and SB19, along with Indonesian girl group No Na, as Southeast Asian acts the company is closely monitoring.

The mention of the Filipino groups came as HYBE discussed its efforts to track the growth of regional artists and understand emerging music markets outside South Korea.

Through its global fan platform Weverse, the company has been observing how artists build communities and connect with audiences worldwide.

For BINI, that digital presence has become one of the clearest signs of its international momentum. The eight-member girl group joined Weverse in June and quickly established a strong community on the platform, gaining more than 277,000 members and becoming the most-followed P-pop act on Weverse at the time of writing.

SB19, meanwhile, continues to serve as one of the pioneers of the Filipino idol scene, building a worldwide following through their music, performances and international activities, including their recent Lollapalooza appearance.

The entertainment company, known for managing global acts such as BTS, Seventeen and Enhypen, has expanded its presence through artist development, partnerships and digital platforms.
