K-pop fifth gen excellence is on the rise. Proudly bearing the Filipino flag, there’s a new boy group in town and they are living up to their name as “All Time Hall of Famer.”
Following the success of Gehlee Dangca and Elisia Parmisano of the girl group UNIS, who recently made headlines as the first full-blooded Filipinas to win on a South Korean music show, another Filipino idol is breaking boundaries.
JL Gaspar has made an ultimate mark as the first full-blooded Filipino male K-pop idol to win on a South Korean music show.
Just seven days after their official debut, JL and his group AHOF (All Time Hall of Famer) clinched their first-ever music show win on SBS’ “The Show” with their debut single “Rendezvous.”
AHOF (@AHOF_official) took first place on this week’s The Show with “Rendezvous”, earning their first-ever music show win just 7 days after their debut. Congratulations!

Their fandom – humorously referring to themselves as the “nameless fandom” joined in the celebration online, throwing a virtual party that quickly trended across social media platforms.
Debuting on July 1 through the survival show “Universe League,” AHOF is a multinational nine-member group already making impressive strides in the industry.
Their debut mini-album “Who We Are” features six tracks, including “Rendezvous,” “The Little Star,” “The Universe,” “Incompleted,” “Cosmic Underdog” and “AHOF.”
“Who We Are” introduces their identity with a collection of emotional and energetic tracks, chronicling their growth from trainees to artists.
According to the group, the album reflects themes of self-discovery, personal doubt and the exhilarating leap into the limelight.
In just one week, the music video for “Rendezvous” has surpassed 25 million views on YouTube, a strong indicator of their fast-growing popularity. Both physical album sales and digital streams have also shown exceptional results.
