Barrett Steel closes in on British Steel distribution centres
A leading UK steel stockholder is lining up to buy out a number of British Steel distribution centres, should the Jingye Group deal go through.
Bradford-based Barrett Steel aid it is “hopeful” of securing British Steel Metal Centre sites in Wolverhampton, Dartford, Newcastle and British Steel’s home town of Scunthorpe, where it already has a large presence close to the huge works.
