English airports to benefit from new £100m covid support package
Commercial airports across England and ground handlers serving them will benefit from up to £8 million each under a new government finance package.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak has said the £100 million package will provide support for 24 airports from early next year which have been hit so hard by travel restrictions placed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
