2. Multilingual introductions

Taking representation to another level, BINI introduced themselves using different Filipino languages.

Maloi spoke in Batangueño, Stacey in Ilocano, Aiah and Colet in Bisaya, Gwen in Bicolano, while Jhoanna and Sheena used Tagalog. Mikha, on the other hand, delivered her introduction in English.

The segment struck a chord with fans, especially Filipinos watching both live and online, as it highlighted the group’s roots on a global stage.

3. The ‘MaColet’ moment

A sweet interaction between Maloi and Colet quickly became one of the most talked-about highlights of the night. During their performance of “Salamin, Salamin,” Maloi kissed Colet on the cheek, sparking cheers from the crowd and fans online.

4. An emotional finale with the Philippine flag

As BINI wrapped up their set, the mood turned heartfelt. The Philippine flag flashed across the screen behind them.

Colet addressed the crowd, saying, “Thank you for being part of our journey.” The audience responded with loud chants of “BINI!” as the group took in the moment.

Gwen then added, “Mabuhay sa mga Pilipino! Maraming salamat Coachella, thank you for being part of our journey, we’re going to remember this forever.”
