At least four people have been injured after a shooting near crowds who had gathered to watch the World Cup.
Celebrations after the Mexico v England match took a dark turn in Los Angeles on Sunday night after a gunman opened fire.
Footage shows a significant police and ambulance presence at the junction of Whittier Boulevard and Leonard Avenue, where the streets were cordoned off after reports of gunshots at about 10pm local time on Sunday.
Before the shooting, huge crowds had lined the streets, with cars honking their horns and people flying the Mexican flag.
Footage captured the moment a car performed a doughnut around a junction when around three shots rang out, sending crowds running for cover.
At least one person appeared to have been hit on the side of the road. Crowds ran to their rescue to give first aid before emergency services arrived.
Other victims were found dotted on or around Whittier Boulevard, but the incident is being treated as one shooting, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Four people were taken to hospital. Their conditions have not been publicly revealed.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) said a suspect was not taken into custody as of 10.15pm.
