The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s former Grade II-listed home could undergo another revamp.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage might be slated for further works less than a decade after it was converted for the couple.
Frogmore Cottage was a wedding gift to Harry and Meghan from the late Queen Elizabeth II in May 2018.
The property, consisting of five separate units, was then turned into a four-bedroom plus nursery home before the birth of Archie the following year.

The works, which were in the pipeline regardless, are said to have cost £2.4 million.
Prince Harry and Meghan lived at Frogmore for 10 months before relocating to the US.
The couple have repaid £2.4 to cover the works and rental following their move to California.
Originally, the costs were covered under the Sovereign Grant arrangement, which is paid by public funds in exchange for the King’s surrender of the revenue from the Crown Estate.
Now options being looked at are said to include the option to divide the property again, among other possible future solutions.
Early assessments have been carried out to see whether dividing the property into smaller units would be possible, but no plans have been set in stone, Metro understands.
Currently, no work for a possible conversion is confirmed or underway, according to a source.
The property is currently unoccupied, and no future tenants have been identified, Metro understands.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was offered Frogmore Cottage in exchange for the lease at the Royal Lodge, where Andrew had lived for decades.
The disgraced former duke left the sprawling Royal Lodge earlier this year and moved to a more modest home on King Charles’s Sandringham estate.
Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, lived at Frogmore Cottage for around two years after moving there in November 2020.
Inside Frogmore Cottage
The cottage is part of the Frogmore estate in Windsor, consisting of around 5,000 sq ft across five bedrooms and four bathrooms since the 2020 renovation.
It was built in 1801 at the order of Queen Charlotte, costing £450 at the time.
Before the Sussexes rented the cottage, it was used as five staff apartments.
The 2018/19 royal accounts stated: ‘The scheme consisted of the reconfiguration and full refurbishment of five residential units in poor condition to create the official residence for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their family.’
