New York City’s procurement system is a powerful platform for small and minority-owned businesses. By becoming certified city vendors, Filipino entrepreneurs can access new opportunities and expand their enterprises.

In 2025 alone, the City of New York awarded over $2.2 billion in contracts to minority and women-owned businesses.

“This record-breaking investment is a clear indication of the potential for Filipino entrepreneurs to grow their businesses,” according to the Consulate.

The system offers a wide range of opportunities across various sectors, including construction, human services, professional services and more.
