Dexcon’s wrestling event from Aug. 22-24 broke ground as the first time a Filipino organization held wrestling shows for three consecutive days across three different venues.
International wrestlers and fans flocked to Manila, to attend the series of Pinoy wrestling festivities at the Social House bar in Makati, The Attack Arena archery center in Mandaluyong and the “Mecca of Pinoy Wrestling” Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.

Dexcon
Dexcon is a Manila-based pro wrestling organization that hosts live events and promotes Filipino wrestlers, seeing them work together with international wrestlers from Japan and Southeast Asia.
Since 2023, Dexcon has booked names like NJPW’s Zack Sabre Jr, SPW’s Alexis Lee, and most recently, DDT’s Chris Brookes and Takeshi Masada.
In 2025, the promotion’s momentum and allure would grow with their partnership with combat sports streaming service Triller TV.
Baka Gaijin + Friends MNL
“Baka Gaijin + Friends MNL” at Social House combined the experience of live music and mat wrestling.

The live band half was headlined by the heartfelt sounds of Shirebound. The wild bar wrestling half was headlined by the madness that was Chris Brookes and Takeshi Masada vs. Jake De Leon and Isaiah Valencia, in a match that took audience participation to another level.
Meet-and-greet
Fans at the meet-and-greet were also treated to a wrestling show in perhaps the Philippines’ most unique wrestling venue, The Attack Arena.
The mat wrestling show was co-headlined by the intangible spectacle that was Jake De Leon against Invisible John Cena, and Fabio Makisig grappling with one of Singapore’s top stars Dr. Gore.
Peksman
The three-day extravaganza concluded with the big event at Brawl Pit Bulusan, “Peksman.”

The event saw the retirement match of Saint John Martin, one of the most prominent figures in the scene, who gave an emotional final speech as “SJM” following a hard-fought battle with Dr. Gore.
The co-main events saw Jake De Leon against Takeshi Masada in a highly-anticipated “Kiss of Death” match, and Robin Sane climbing the largest mountain of his career thus far in Chris Brookes.
The Philippine wrestling scene as a whole holds shows monthly, a community fighting to make the scene more visible and sustainable, one successful show at a time.
