Jimin confirms BTS’ comeback album for Spring 2026

As the world’s biggest boy band gears up for their long-awaited return, excitement is reaching fever pitch. BTS, now complete after all seven members concluded their mandatory military service, is officially set to make their monumental comeback in spring 2026.

During a recent Weverse livestream, BTS member Jimin thrilled fans by confirming that the group has finished recording their upcoming full-length album.

“Everyone, we finished recording… It can now come next spring… I really want to promote our song soon,” he said.

This marks BTS’ first full album in six years since the release of BE in 2020. The announcement immediately sparked a wave of celebration online, with ARMYs worldwide flooding social media platforms to share their excitement and gratitude. 

Many fans have called it “the biggest news of the year,” as the group’s long hiatus nears its end.

Adding to the excitement, a recent Bloomberg report revealed that BTS is planning a massive world tour to accompany the album’s release.

The tour, reportedly spanning around 65 shows across the globe, including over 30 performances in North America, will coincide with the album’s launch in March 2026.

The comeback will follow the full completion of the members’ enlistment duties, Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, with the final discharges expected by June 2025. The group’s most awaited reunion was officially confirmed during a Weverse livestream in July 2025, where the members appeared together for the first time since 2022.

With a new album, an ambitious world tour, and their long-awaited return as a complete group, 2026 is shaping up to be a defining year for BTS and a historic moment for fans around the world.
