Bullets pierced a Tesla dealership for the second time in one week as company owner Elon Musk continues to serve in the Trump administration.
More than a dozen gunshots were fired around the dealership in Tigard, Oregon, around 4.15am on Thursday, police said.
Vehicles inside the building and the showroom windows received ‘extensive damage’, according to the Tigard Police Department.
‘A security guard was on scene at the time; thankfully he was not hurt,’ wrote the police department on social media.
The same dealership was targeted with gunfire last Thursday.
‘We are working to collect all available evidence, including physical evidence and surveillance footage from the area,’ stated the police department of the latest incident.
Cops are working with the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ‘to ensure the most thorough investigation in this case’, according to the police department.
Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact the police department.
Tigard is about 10 miles southwest of Portland.
