ARMYs witnessed an unexpected technical hiccup during K-pop supergroup BTS’ long-awaited US return, after member Jungkook addressed an audio issue that affected his performance in Tampa, Florida.
Held at Raymond James Stadium, the concert marked BTS’ first full-scale US performance since 2022.
While the event was filled with high-energy performances and emotional moments, a noticeable disruption occurred during Jungkook’s segment in “Magic Shop,” where his vocals were reportedly affected by a sound system malfunction, resulting in distorted pitch and uneven audio output.
The issue did not go unnoticed by fans, many of whom quickly shared clips online highlighting the technical problem. Rather than allowing speculation to build, Jungkook personally addressed the situation shortly after the show.
He took to social media to clarify what happened and reassure fans. He wrote, “The ‘Magic Shop’ sound problem yesterday is true. Don’t worry. I’ll fix the pitch from today,” showing that adjustments would be made for upcoming performances.
He also extended an apology to those who attended the concert, saying, “I’m sorry to ARMY who came to the show,” while openly expressing his frustration over the incident with, “I’m angry too.”
According to accounts from the event, Jungkook responded to the on-stage issue in real time by re-performing parts of the song a cappella.
