Blending high-energy pop bangers with an imaginative storyline, “KPop Demon Hunters” has become a cultural force that bridges K-pop fandom and animated storytelling.

Months after its release, the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack continues to prove its staying power, holding its ground at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week.

The hit animated film album has now spent an impressive 17 weeks on the chart, showing no signs of slowing down.

According to Billboard’s latest preview report released Sunday, the soundtrack earned 104,000 equivalent album units during the most recent tracking week, which is a nine percent jump from the previous week.

Grammy-award winning pop superstar Taylor Swift, meanwhile, maintained her No. 1 position with her newest album “The Life of a Showgirl,” collecting 338,000 units.

While that figure marks a drop from her record-shattering debut of 4.002 million units, Swift’s reign remains firm and steady atop the chart.
