A mother has spoken of her heartbreak after the body of her son was found in Kent woodland.
Jason Stevens, 19, was last seen at around 5pm on Friday, his car abandoned in Blean Woods, near Canterbury.
His disappearance sparked a huge search and emotional appeals from his family for him to come home safe.
Tragically, police said they found a body in Blean Woods, Canterbury, on Thursday.

His mother Helen Stevens wrote on Facebook: ‘It is with heavy hearts that we need to inform you that our lovely son Jason was found this afternoon at Blean Woods.
‘We are all heartbroken and would like to thank each and every one of you that has shown such kindness to all of us during this time.
‘We take comfort that Jason is at peace and is in a better place.
‘This goes without saying all search parties have been cancelled and again thank you.’
She previously told Metro: ‘I want him to know he is loved. ‘And we just want him home. I miss Jason so much and want him back with me.’
A Kent Police spokesman said: ‘Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the family of an 18-year-old man who was last seen on Friday 13 February, have been informed.
‘The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.’
