During a recent speech, Donald Trump told a crowd: ‘I’d say 90% of the reason I took the governor – eughhh,’ he said, making a noise which caused his supporters to look around in confusion.
Throughout his rally appearances ahead of the midterm elections, Trump has been making some rather peculiar noises.
In another speech, he told the crowd: ‘We brought the flow of deadly drugs coming in by ocean and sea down by 97.’ He then began to imitate a gun suddenly, telling the crowd: ‘Pew, pew, pew!’
His outbursts during speeches, which are aimed at boosting Republican candidates in November, have become a major talking point.
Journalist Adam Cochran noted: ‘40% of patients suffering from dementia have “VBD” (vocally disruptive behavior). They are sudden, disruptive and surprising to the patient.
‘Which is why he seems stunned for a moment. The reason they keep giving him the MoCA test is that they know he is in severe cognitive decline.’
Questions have been raised about Trump’s mental state. But the President made sure to take time at the Wichita, Kansas, rally earlier this week to brag about his mental competence.
After rambling about his math skills – ‘dividing a number by three, doubling it, subtracting 400, adding 293, dividing by seven’ – the President bragged about getting a perfect score on the cognitive test.
‘They have another one where they give you five words. The doctor actually said, “Well, sir, here’s the problem. If you do well, that’s fine. If you do poorly, it’s going to be a big story. And no other president was willing to take it,’ Trump told the crowd.
The President, now 80 years old, has repeatedly bragged about his ‘perfect’ scores on cognitive tests. It’s believed he’s taken around six, a high number considering most doctors test every one to three years.
In May, after his routine medical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical center, Dr Sean Barbabella said Trump is ‘fully fit’ to serve after he underwent a CT scan and other heart imaging, along with cancer screenings and other preventative assessments carried out by 22 specialists.
Trump wrote on Truth Social at the time: ‘Unlike other US Presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high-difficulty cognitive test, I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, considered “extreme intelligence.”
‘In fact, this is my fourth such test, all PERFECT or 120 correct answers out of 120 questions asked! It is very rare that anyone gets a Perfect Score, especially when achieved four times in a row.’

However, reports have suggested the ‘great difficulty’ test may be the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, used to screen for dementia and cognitive impairment.
