Newcastle Racecourse blames £200,000 loss on minimum wage increase
Newcastle Racecourse made a six-figure loss last year, blaming its poor results on an increase in the national minimum wage.
Turnover for High Gosforth Park Limited, which runs Newcastle Racecourse, came in at £15.1m for the year ending December 31 2018.
The revenue represented a 3.1% increase on the racecourse’s 2017 figure, which was £14.6m.
