During her global Cosmopolitan cover shoot, Filipino American pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo revealed that singing karaoke makes her feel Filipino.
“Whenever I do karaoke, I think, ‘Hell yeah, I’m Filipino!” the singer shared with Cosmopolitan Philippines.
She also revealed that her go-to karaoke classics are Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.”

In the cover story, Rodrigo fondly remembers the impact of her first show in the Philippines in 2024.
“I had never been to the Philippines in my life and being able to go there and play in an arena of 55,000 people is so crazy. I loved watching the young girls in the crowd sing songs like ‘traitor.’”
Rodrigo’s Cosmopolitan interview followed her “Saturday Night Live” debut on May 2. She pulled double duty as both host and musical guest.

The singer performed “Drop Dead,” the history-making lead single off her upcoming third studio album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.”
She also debuted the track “Begged.”
The former Disney star took part in multiple skits and performed a parody of her 2021 breakout hit, “Drivers License.”
