Plans emerge for offshore wind turbine testing facility in Northumberland
Plans have been outlined for the construction of a facility in Northumberland that would test the next generation of offshore wind turbines.
The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and Advance Northumberland are working to develop the facility at Blyth in a move which aims to attract inward investment linked to the growing offshore renewable energy sector.
