BEVERLY HILLS – A lawsuit filed by former business partners of Priscilla Presley alleging she hid a multimillion-dollar jewelry collection worth about $25 million has been dropped.

The allegations had been made in a Beverly Hills Superior Court lawsuit filed by Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, whose attorneys filed court papers on Monday with Judge Edward Moreton Jr. asking that the case be dropped without prejudice, meaning it can be refiled later.

The court papers do not state if a settlement was reached or if the pair are not pursuing the case for other reasons.

The 80-year-old ex-wife of Elvis Presley was accused of submitting a form to the Internal Revenue Service in an attempt to negotiate down her tax obligations by saying that she only owned jewelry worth $6,000, the suit stated.

Kruse and Fialko contended that after Presley found out they were going to inform the IRS of the collection’s worth she “orchestrated their immediate termination.”

Presley attorney Martin Singer previously called the plaintiffs’ claims “absurd” and “without merit.”

The suit was filed last Aug. 11 and an amended version was filed Sept. 3, both alleging fraud and breach of contract. (CNS)
