A mum gave birth in her garage doorway in just nine minutes – and caught it all on her Ring camera.

Christina Mahone, 37, said she started getting contractions around 10am and was monitoring them before her water broke at 2.03pm.

Her daughter, Merci, 12, called her father Damien, 39, and Christina went to get in her car to get to the hospital before she felt a sudden need to push.

Damien arrived just minutes before their daughter’s birth and worked with 911 dispatch on the phone to deliver the baby in the garage.

Within nine minutes of Christina’s water breaking, Scotti Ann Mahone was born, weighing nine pounds and measuring 20 inches long on June 12 2026 at 2.12pm.

Christina, based in Douglasville, Georgia, said: ‘It was so quick and fast — it was crazy. I didn’t make it to the hospital, and I didn’t even make it out of my driveway.

‘There wasn’t much time to think about anything; it was like an out-of-body experience. My husband caught her. I couldn’t even communicate to him what to do, but luckily he was on the phone with 911 dispatch.’

The mum-of-three said her contractions were not intense or too close together before her waters broke.

She said: ‘We went down to the garage to put everything in the car. As I went to move the car out of the garage, I physically could not get into the car.

‘I knew she was too low, and as I walked around the hood of my car, she started to come. I yelled for my daughter to come catch her.

‘My husband pulled up three minutes before she was born — about nine minutes from the time my water broke to the time she came.’

Christina said she didn’t even feel like she pushed – rather, gravity helped deliver her little girl.

Mum and baby were taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia and have been given a clean bill of health.

She added: ‘We had been planning on having both of our kids in the delivery room this time around, so they were already prepared to see everything — just not in our driveway.

‘My husband did amazing. He was so calm, and I couldn’t have had a better partner.’
