San Francisco’s I-Hotel Manilatown Center will host the Filipina American-led art exhibit titled, “Inday: Manilatown Celebrates Women’s History Month.”
The exhibit, running from Feb. 28 to Mar. 31, will showcase Fil-Am female artists and works that spotlight intergenerational stories of migration, identity, perseverance and cultural pride.
“This exhibition is both a celebration and a statement,” said Caroline Cabading, the executive director of Manilatown Heritage Foundation. “By centering the work of American Filipina artists, “Inday” honors the creative leadership of women who have shaped our communities across generations.”

Diverse art media will be on display, including painting, textile arts, ceramics, mixed media and performance.

The exhibit opens Feb. 28, with the program beginning 5:30 p.m., featuring special performances by Manilatown Jazz Ensemble and the Manilatown Ancestral Ensemble.
