Pop superstar Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour continues to receive recognition long after its final performance, with the concert film documenting the show’s closing night earning five Emmy Award nominations.
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show” is nominated for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Directing for a Variety Special, Picture Editing for Variety Programming, Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special and Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Special.
The film’s official social media accounts celebrated the achievement, writing, “The most wondrous tour of our lives! Our beloved ‘Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show’ has received five #EMMY nominations!”

Among the nominations is Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), which also recognizes Swift as a producer of the project alongside her role as its featured performer.
It marks her second career Emmy nomination. She previously won in 2015 for Creative Achievement in Interactive Media – Original Interactive Program as executive producer of AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience.
End of an era
Released on Disney+ in December 2025, “The Eras Tour: The Final Show” captures Swift’s final concert of the historic world tour while also taking viewers behind the scenes during its closing stretch. The project serves as both a concert film and a documentary, preserving the moments leading up to the final show.
When she announced the release in October 2025, Swift shared why documenting the tour’s conclusion mattered to her.
“It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”
The Emmy recognition adds to a week of major milestones for the singer-songwriter. Just days after marrying longtime partner Travis Kelce, Swift also scored a legal victory after a copyright lawsuit filed by a Florida self-published poet was resolved in her favor.
